Accuracy International Stock Compatibility

I was looking into acquiring an Arctic Warfare Police. However, I would like to change the fixed black stock for a folding Dark Earth Stock. I want the classic look like this

I am trying to avoid the pistol grip stock/ the one cut for a pistol grip/at style stock

Does anyone know which model would be best for this and if they would fit the arctic warfare police? thanks

Pictured in an AICS 2.0. Those skins won’t fit an AW. All you’re looking for is any true AW skins in FDE. Today they’re commonly called “legacy” skins. I’m not sure pistol grip skins were ever shipped with any AW, although you could buy pistol grip skins from AI around the time of changeover from AW to AT.

What is the difference between the skins and the chassis? I dont think the AWP has a folding chassis, so if i wanted a folding stock would i need a new chassis or just new skins?

AICS skins are specific to that chassis. The bolt cut out specifically is AICS(for a Remington square bolt handle). The AW just has a small half moon cut in the skin for its round/slender handle, and no boss on the chassis.

An AW has an AI action which is glued and screwed to the chassis. No mixing and matching available. I’ve never heard of a fixed AW being converted to a folder. That union is glued and screwed as well, and no folding butt is available like there is on newer rifles.

Do you have the rifle yet? If not, you’re just looking for an AW folder. The police models seem to vary, but in general had plain (unfluted) barrels and no muzzle device. They were the un-special budget AW’s.

I dont have the rifle yet. It was 3k which seemed like an OK price for an AW. I would like an AWM but im pretty sure those are like 8k or something. I am new to the market and since they're all second hand because they are discontinued and there really isn't a lot of information on them readily available I have a lot of questions.

3K is a good deal. 8k on an AWM is stupid, definitely not worth that. I have an AXMC 338 for sale in the PX here for $5500.

The folder option on an AW was $750 if I recall FYI.

Yes, it was accuracy international’s claim to fame. Even the current rifles are bonded.
