Accuracy International Trigger Adjustment

Hey guys,
I want to adjust my standard (not 2 stage)trigger on my AW. The trigger has 2 allan screws, one at the very base of the trigger and the other just forward of that.

Does anyone know what each screw does? I can't find any reference on this.

Non two stage? Is it adjusted as such or was that an option at one time?

I've heard of AI triggers which were <span style="font-style: italic">adjusted</span> to be single-stage, but I've never seen one.

I strongly suggest that you work with Stacey. I did and am VERY pleased with the results on my triggers.

It is possible. I have AW .300 and adjusted it to single stage and its very nice. I have 580 rounds over it with that adjustment without issue.

Cant a user just adjust the initial stage out? I played around with my trigger and got it to a felt single stage. This is also when I had a misfire at the range when taking it off safety and decided to change it back...

AIs have a two stage trigger for a reason. If you want a single-stage trigger, maybe a different rifle should be chosen.

I love the AI two-stage trigger so much that I put a two-stage in my carbine.

My AW and AE have phenomenal triggers and I have shot Remington's exclusively till these two rifles. Talk to Stacey, he'll steer you right. The trigger is not getting in your way of accuracy, look elswhere if your having problems.
