Accurate-Mag and Altus Extension Removal

I'm not sure if Im an idiot or not, but since there's next to no documentation about this extension online, how do you remove it to service the internals? I removed the screws on the extension and tried to jimmy a small allen key in there to try and push the spring up, but it's not working. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Did you put the plastic spacer thing from the accurate mag in when you added the two round extension?

If so I’ve seen them get stuck in there and you just have to force it open.

Yeah I didn't remove the bottom plastic piece. Alright then. I dont need it apart now, gonna suck when I do haha.
