Can anyone link a video or point me in the right direction how to modify my accurate 223 mag to allow longer rounds. I emailed accurate but they never gave me a how to, just basically said to remove a piece.

You can purchase Accurate mags with or without the front reinforcing/binder spacer plate but I'm not sure you could remove it without damaging the mag once it's factory installed. Why not call them and see what they have to say?

i did. Here is the response

The max OAL length is 2.325 but if you remove the "shelf" on the top front of the magazine then an OAL of up to 2.530" can be used.

I guess what they are calling the "shelf" is something I'm unfamiliar with, can't recall seeing anything resembling a shelf before. I wonder if he's referring to the front spacer.....

I think the Accurate .223 mags are actually .308 mags with a plastic insert that reduce their interior dimensions. This is basically two pieces of plastic that comes together to form the internal dimensions. No personal experience but I have asked them and received the same answer. I think what it involves is thinning the front of the two plastic pieces where they come together - like it shows in this photo I got from the web. Of course it will weaken the contact point in the front but since it is surrounded by the steel .308 mag, the worst that would happen is you have to glue the plastic insert to the steel casing. Pull it apart, you'll see. It's just a sleeve and it's actually only the very top that needs filed, the main body of the plastic spacer already allows 2.50ish. buy a rat tail file and work on the small lip at the top while it's disassembled, then reassemble and you're done. It's the easier mag mod you can do.
