I am looking for someone who modifies AI single stack magazines for using the 6mm BR. I guess one member, Marty Larson from Wisconson does this. His sign on has 50 somewhere in it. Does anyone know who does this or Marty's info.
Tks

Try this:
Go to the "User List" located right by "My Stuff" and type in **50**
That will bring up all users with a 50 in their username. Maybe you can find him that way.

I've heard, but never tried, it is bitch to get 6BR to run in any DBM system.

Re: ACIS Mags 6mm BR

I hope this turns into something good cause I'm about to do two of them. The only thing I have to offer is there's a write up on 6mmbr and Bryant custom rifle's where he use a 308 mag and 223 bottom metal together. I will try and post link when I get home.

Re: ACIS Mags 6mm BR

I've modified HSP mags to run 6BR, 10 rd mag is easier to do.
I sent mag to a member here who was unable to get it to work with his 22BR but could be the OAL on the 22BR was too short. Don't know.

I'm sure I could modify AICS mags to feed 6BR.

If you care to do so I am sure you will be surprised with the demand. Many of us have every component for a 6br tactical rifle but a good mag.

Re: ACIS Mags 6mm BR

I'm feeding a 6BRX; my experience:
I have an AI .223 magazine that was worked to feed ok with the 95 grain Bergers, but I wanted a little more length for the 107SMKs, so I modified an Accurate Mag .308 with a spacer. Little bit of tweaking on the follower and spring and it feeds great with the longer cartridges.

The AM spring was a little too strong with the new position in the magazine, it required a little adjusting to not cause the rounds to jump up early.
