Hello, hopefully someone can help me out. I have a TA11F and want to use it on my 7.62 and 6.8, when I'm not using my NF NXS 2.5x10x32. Now I know the stadia lines are calibrated (BDC) for the 5.56, without going into barrel length, bullet weight/co-efficient and such,(I'm good at Kentucky windage and know the difference between the ballistics of these calibers), how much difference is there to be seen looking through the glass at the stadia lines and/or the chevron between the TA11E and TA11F? is the vertical BDC longer on the TA11E? Is the chevron itself in the TA11F sized shorter for 5.56? Basically shooting out to 300 yds all I would have to do is approximate holdover correct? And I assume there is no build difference (ruggedness) that recoil would affect the unit. In addition, how can Trijicon estimate BDC for any given optic to caliber, relative to the vast array of rifles/projectiles that would be utilized by each individual shooter, so in essence, isn't it all about adapting to what you are shooting? Is it like gas at the pump?, all of the nozzles go to the same tank.
