Acosta Gets His WH Hard Pass Back Per DC Trump Appointee Judge ... For Now

Not for nothin', but maybe ya'll (President included) are going at this all wrong. Bear with me here:

Is there ANY law, anywhere, saying that the press conferences HAVE to take place in the "White House Briefing Room?"

Can't President Trump simply start having "media meetings" somewhere else? Can't he do so under "invitation only" There's plenty of rooms in the White House, as well as plenty of buildings connected in one way or anther TO the White House.

Hell, there's even a bowling lane in there. Call it President Trump's Bowling Team, and only registered and approved teammates are allowed to enter. Part of their registration process would be a dictum of procedure and decorum required for membership. cASSto and any other ASS can sit in the 'White House Briefing Room' all they want,,, and wait in the silence for someone to come and say "it's all over now, have a good night, and drive safe" while the important stuff happened somewhere else.

Take that train of thought, and run with it. If the establishment isn't working, then "flush the establishment" and start down the better path. Part of "draining the swamp", right?

Start already.

And yes, I have FAITH that President Trump (and/or his designates would choose an even mix of 'left-wing media, right-wing media, and 'middle-ground' media. To keep it an even spread. And whenever someone changes sides, the numbers get balanced.

Run with that, and tell me why it won't work.

I don't know of any law that requires President Trump to brief reporters in the breifing room. President Trump should send Girl Scout Cookies and mild to the official briefing room and invite any real reporters he wants to talk to to another room leaving the assholes to report on how great Girl Scout Cookies are.

Trump does not have to follow the judges ruling at all, the executive is a little more equal than an arm of congress which is what the judiciary is.

Acosta's right to be an ass trumps the need for order and decorum at WH press conferences.

I have not read the ruling but I am pretty sure this was about “due process” not Acosta’s satan given right to be an asshole. If that was the point and as purported there were no protocols in place, this really could be a sound Conservative Constitutional ruling re: Due process.

Does due process apply when there was no crime to be charged with? How does due process factor into being invited to secure facility to ask questions?

What I heard on talk radio was that when the judge asked who revoked his pass and why the lawyers for the White House did not respond or declined to answer.
I believe that this was a strategic move to implement hard fast rules of decorum. Those rules are currently being written by the Trump administration.
So while acosta has a temporary win to gloat over his case will be lost in the end. If the White House can issue a pass then they can also revoke one.
Sean Spicer should have laid out the rules back on day one. He should have told them that this is not the Jerry Springer show. If you act like it you will be removed.
