Action screw length with a M5 dbm?

I recently installed a Badger M5 and was wondering how much thread engagement people are getting with theirs. My rear action screw tops out at exactly 3 full turns after torquing it down and the front screw is at 2 full turns. The rear tang has quite a bit of thread left exposed so it seems a bit short, but my screws measure 1 3/8" and 1" for the length of the threading which seems pretty normal.

When you did the install, did you use the included pillars, or make sure your pillars were the correct height?

For a short action, it's .720" for the rear and 1.070" for the front.

I measured the pillars and the heights were correct. Even with my action out of the stock with only the pillars between it and the dbm the screws seem a bit short.
