IMPACT!!!

In my opinion a Rem700 or a clone is the only way to go because of the plethora of high quality and resonably priced components that will attach to that action.

If you are looking at just actions and adding a custom barrel I would be looking at R700 clones. There are so many more options.

I'm new to the bolt action scene but I am going with a Templar v2. It's a Defiance Deviant branded under GAP. The Defiance may be cheaper but I went with a personal preference because I have always been intersted/fascinated with the Knights Templar. I purchased a Tikka from the classifieds yesterday so I will get to try that out soon.

I have both an R700 footprint and a traditional Mauser. They both work as expected but give the aftermarket support I’d give the edge to the clones.
