In written form, improper use of homonyms or apostrophes peeves me. Examples - they're, their, there; here, hear; break, brake; your, you're; it's, its; cant (can not, not an angle), wont (will not, not a given behavior), dont (do not, otherwise it's not even a word); etc.
Also, lack of punctuation and capitalization, and the inability to spell common words from someone with at least most of a high school education just disappoints me.
I'm not even going to get into what bugs me when people are speaking, as I live in Kentucky and have just learned to repress the urge to correct people.
