So I’ve got a new Manners MCS-CS on order. Going for something ultra short built on an ARC Nucleus. Plan to try the new Leupold Mark 5 3.6-18. This stock’s comb will not be high enough to get a good fit for me. I’ve got a pretty good idea of that based on a T4A I already have with similar glass.
Badger Ordnance appears to be adding a spacer system to their M134 system to get a decent cheek weld. That being said I don’t want to go the kydex route. Badger won’t let me order their system.
So my question is, can I find a machine shop that can cnc me a set up like what badger uses with interchangeable spacers to get a good fit? Would probably secure by means of threaded inserts into comb with long shank torx screws.
Any other ideas to make that work? I don’t need rapid adjustments just a set it and forget it type thing that will still allow bolt removal.
