I’ve seen those little two bullet holders that are stuck to the side of a stock, in the scope area. But I’d rather store a hex key (to take off my Elite Iron bipod), and/or have a little pocket with extra CR2032 batteries for my scope. Basically the size of the two bullet holders.
The EI owner told me about some spec ops guy who fashioned a hex key holder with some hard foam. Attached foam to stock somehow, drilled a small hole through it for the long part of the hex key, notched out a spot for the short L hex part to slide flush into, and It was done.
But if someone already makes something, I’m all ears. Doesn’t have to be rifle specific.
I tried searching but came up blank. I almost always carry tools with me, but I’ve had tools like a circular saw that had an intergrated hex key slot so one could change out blades without hunting around in the tool box. It was super handy.
