Looking for suggestions for fastening the rubber Decelerator pad to the black plastic on my McMillan stock.
I have shortened the length of pull a bit and would like to glue the pad back on.
Thanks in advance.

Medium CA (super glue) does a nice job. Available at any hobby store that sells RC plane stuff.

c.

ps. Get a bottle of kicker too.

The late 80's, early 90's Pacer Tech Zip Kicker was fantastic, do they still make that? A newer version that was foam proof was just not as good
and all European alternatives are not great (useless). I must find a way of getting a couple refill bottles over here.

You are thinking of Pacer Zap. Kicker is what you use to get the glue to kick (harden) faster.

Another option is 3M 5200. It is a polyurethane mastic. It takes a while to set, but the pad will not come off accidentally. If you need it off, run a piece of string or thin wire to cut through the mastic.

It is used in sail boat world to hold on lead keels. On the boat we owned (same type, not ours) they had to replace a keel. They pulled the nuts, raised the hull, and the 1500 pound keel just hung there. Had to cut it off with a wire.
