I was looking to buy an adjustable cheek weld for my sps-v, possibly the karsten one but I noticed that on the left side of the stock, it has a bulge that acts as a cheek rest. now my question lies with that; if I purchase a karsten cheek weld, will it fit over that bulge?
i checked online and watched some videos and all of them were for the ones with stocks that don't have a bulge.

picture for reference

Thank you!

i would say buy the adjustable cheek rest and check, if it doesn't fit, you could always grind/sand down the instigated cheek rest, tape off the grey part and repaint it..

i feel like the cheek rest is hollow as well and by sanding it down will create a big open area..

that does seem like a good solution. i had issues with stock packs before where it would come loose and shift around. but it was the blackhawk brand with paracord to hold it in place. tac ops velcro one looks more sturdy.. thanks!

I'm pretty sure that karstens you can heat up with hair drier and it becomes alittle moldy and it should flex to be big enough. NOt 100% on that but something to look into

you can also put them in boiling water and bend to fit which is better in my opinion, it gives it a more even heat with out melting it.

Your SPS stock is hollow by you could fill with fiber glass resin then cut off the monte carlo style cheek piece and drill out for the karsten but damn that's a lot of work for a 5 dollar stock, best to save up for a used PSS or Bell and Carlson stock and go from there.
