So...has anyone taken the kids to see it yet? There's a couple of MP40s, a Browning HiPower and a bazooka shot backwards - you know, enough for Hide members to get excited

I'm hoping it is good. I loved his books many years ago when I was in elementary school.

If you do get around to seeing it, but sure to see it in 3D. It's not like a lot of other movies where the 3D conversion is wonky - it's on the same level as "Avatar" in that regard. There's plenty of action, lots of slapstick for the kids and overall a good adventure story.

I loved those books as a kid and am taking my gf, her sister and the sister's kids to see it.
