I'm an officer in a local club and after a couple years I have finally convinced the powers that be to have a trial run of a precision 22lr match this Sunday 10/27, similiar to NRL22, but without their rules, regulations. Mainly just a run what you brung for bragging rights.
If this takes off I hope to maybe try and be NRL22 affiliate but that's way down the road.
Our club is mainly practical pistol club so it's unknown if anybody would be a "serious" rimfire shooter.
Club doesn't have any KYL targets and as we are mostly a pistol club so we have bigger steel.
Max distance we can shoot on our range is about 60 yards, but IF this gets going we could look at longer distances.
Any advice on how to make it challenging without putting off a large majority of people who might be interested?
Our steel hangers are about 6-8in so I'd assume covering part of the targets?
I'm going to try the egg challenge at 50 yards.
