Rifle Scopes Aero Precision mounts for precision rifle?

The UTG.

They're under $90, seem well made.

Would these work for precision work on a 26 ounce scope?

.308 or 6.5

Not very well based on the mounts I looked at. They are OK as set and forget mounts, but all of the ones I saw were out of round and did not work with some scopes all that well since they were pinching the main tube. SWFA SS scopes I tried, interestingly, did not care about that while tube pinching business all that much.

ILya... your recommendation on lowest priced rings that hold zero?

Those XLRs look promising.

I've used ARC M10, Seekins/Vortex branded Seekins, NF unimount with perfect zero with all of these.

For cheapie .22LR, cheap .308, looking for budget scope rings.

UTG Pro rings have been excellent and are very affordable on Amazon. I remember them being around $50, but they are just regular rings and not a one piece mount.

I have not tried the UTG mount, but I was very pleasantly surprised by a UTG handguard I used for a build a little while back. I might try the UTG rigns at some point.

Still, in general, I am pretty conservative with mounts. For precision stuff, I mostly use Aadmounts which are expensive and worth it.
For individual rings, I have grown really fond of Burris XTR Signature rings. I am making good use of the inserts.

With other single piece mount, the Seekins one seems to be working well and is reasonably priced. I have used a couple of GG&G FLT mounts and while looking less pretty than others, I had exactly zero problems with them.

Burris PEPR is supposed to be totally re-designed (the original one was not great), but I havn't used it.

With AeroPrecision, I have several that I bought at some point and while I like the low weight, I am not happy with their consistency (which is weird, since generally AP products have worked well for me over the years).

I liked the idea of the ultralight Aero but had one slip a new optic, torqued and loc-tited on a .308, before becoming aware of the vertical split ring issues.

Not sure what my standby replacement becomes.. It was a Spuhr for that rifle but not sure that will become my ($$$) standby or not.
