They do make them. You have to find a fleet dealer to find them on the lot.
But anyone can go order a brand new work truck trim. It'll come with vinyl seats, manual transfer case, and a basic radio with am/FM and Bluetooth.

But what they're going to stock and try and force you into are the $10k+ upgraded trim levels. Work truck to Denali actually doubles the cost of the truck. But douche canoes want Denali's and that's what the best profit margins are on.

Find a 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado, 5.3 liter, in great shape with low mileage. They are a few out there. With proper maintenance, they last forever.

No they don't. They have junk wiring harnesses and afm.
My dad just put his 13 up for sale rather than address the afm that needs to be deleted.

There's a huge reason I have 3500s only. No afm, and crew cab long boxes.

"Active fuel management"
Aka 4 and 6 cylinder mode.

They use oil and solenoids to special lifters to turn cylinders on and off.

They have a history of lifters getting stuck halfway and beating themselves to death while glitter bombing the rest of the engine.
Thanks. My brain wasn’t working. I was trying to figure it out. I hate everything is abbreviated.

My 20 Silverado had the lifters stick and eat the cam shaft. Luckily under warranty, smoked a black bear at about 80 one morning shortly after the lifters and etc were replaced so I no longer have that truck. Still in a Chevy though. 21 trail boss, I have the DFM disabled with a tuner so I hope it lasts for a while.

If they stuck a 4 cylinder gas motor in it, had a standard and long bed option, then it would sell like hotcakes.

Until then I’ll keep lol’ing at big trucks with 5 foot beds trying to load 2x4x8 lumber while I drive off in my faggot ass Camry with a trailer.

I actually hate the way they look, but a couple of my son’s friends, as well as our godson have the hybrid Maverick and love ‘em.

Great mileage and hauls all their work gear with ease. When they need more truck they usually borrow mine or my son’s and/or hook up a trailer! LoL
