The one Cowboy has as a hyperlink is what I just got in the mail last week. It's better than the standard issue, but dimensionally the same size. I wish it was just a bit shorter in height, but oh well. The material is grippy and has a more rubberized feel to it.

Cool! Exactly what I was looking for. Due to my low scope ring height, I currently use the stock cheek piece at the lowest setting. Can you confirm that this aftermarket cheek piece is at least no higher / thicker than the stock one?
If so I probably will order one to try.

They both look to be the same height, just shaped a little different. I have the same issue with mine and it also stays on the lowest position. I have mine shifted to the right as far as possible to give a bit more clearance. The viper has a large flat top compared to AI which just rounds over. Not a huge difference, but more comfortable for sure.
