AI AX338 what boreguide

What bore guide should I use for this thing since it is not the same as the aw

Mile High didnt have any options. Lucas or otherwise. Anything from midway that will work? Im placing a large order now would be nice to just tack it on.

I bought a Parker Hale cleaning kit for my AW .308. It works perfect in my AX. If your AX is a .338, I imagine it would need an AX specific bore guide, as the AX long action has a different bolt and action than the AW long action.

I have an AW .308 guide and also a Mike Lucas for my AW.

I'd recommend Mike Lucas for ANY bore guide.

Send him the dimensions of the bolt and he can advise if he has one.

Mike will custom build a bore guide for any action, just give him a call. I got one from him for a Badger action when they first came out. He had me take several measurements and then built the guide. Nice guy with a great product.

Personally having 4 Lucas guides..I highly recommend them.

I got a lucas for my aw308.. But milehigh said hes getting very busy or something and wasnt sending them anything for the ax.

Last i contacted him i got a msg back as well saying he was too busy and wasnt taking custom orders at the moment.

I just ordered a generic 338 guide from brownels for the time being.
