Never ran across that problem in my .243, 6.5 Creedmoor or .308.

I've noticed this on my Long Action AI mags but not my Short Actions....

Re: AI mag?

My AICS mags don't stop the bolt after the last shot, but my AW double column, double feed mags have followers that stop the bolt from going forward when empty. The followers are plastic and a few minutes with a file reshaping the back edge of the follower would take care of this if it is an issue with you.

You can file a slight ramp in the back of the follower on the LA mags and it will stop that from happening. Seems the short action mags dont stop your bolt.
