PRS Talk AI named “Official Rifle of the 2025 PRS”

That’s the real game.

The best answer to this, IMO, is to diversify your precision rifle shooting skill set.

Seek professional training from different outlets. Practice. Test your skills in a variety of environments and comps - PRS, NRL Hunter, CD matches, gas gun matches, etc.

Perpetually testing yourself under one specific set of arbitrary criteria may make you really good at shooting that one specific set of criteria, but doesn't make you a well rounded marksman.

I find that it’s really important for me to cycle through using regular hunting rifles, and not just practice with heavy chassis rifles. Also using a very light bag like I carry around hunting in the fall is useful.

Okay. Except you are comparing training with pros in BJJ to shooting a match with pros in PRS. Not the same. As you said earlier, “Apples and oranges.”

Train with some PRS pros. Then you can compare.
I have trained with prs pros.

How much grappling experience do you have?

I mean, you must have enough to determine that I'm wrong?

I’m telling you fellas. Forget all this other stuff. Go out and buy a decent .22. A Vudoo is nice, but even a Bergara B14r or CZ will do. Hopefully all the issues with RimX will get squared away and rejoin this list. Heck, even an RPRR can do.

Purchase a few steel targets (22 appropriate sized) target holders and find a 100 to 150 yard shooting area.

It won’t be long till you’ll be saying “Centerfire What?” They are addictive. Very Addictive. All this compared to Golf or got to change this or spend that will become pretty much irrelevant. And for those folks who say they can up and play a round of golf for 50 bucks, a couple of boxes of good .22 will run around 20 to 30 bucks. That’s it. Have fun. It works.

Back to the subject at hand. (AI) I saw a couple or maybe three of the PRS model at Altus matches last year and year before. Shot two matches this year at Altus and haven’t seen anything that even looks like an AI
