AIAT Bartlein 10 Twist .308 175gr & 185gr

Just got my AI together. It's got a 10 twist Bartlein 17" barrel. I am looking for suggestions on a starting point for 175smk and 185 juggs. I have 4064, varget and RL15 on hand but can procure others if needed.

I have an 1/12 twist Bartlein AiAt barrel and load is 42.7gr of varget, 0.030" off the lands with the 185gr Juggs. .4 MOA... COBL is 2.255".

4064 is one of the best around for 308.. nodes around 42ish grains depending on brass will do great..

I use 43.0gr 4064 with 168smk 2.89" coal for my 11 twist. This 10 twist wasn't digging it. Could be thge lighter projo or the long length. Do the Bartlein barrels usuaslly have a shorter throat? It was chambered by MHSA.

I have a Hawk Hill 10 twist 26 in .308 barrel. 41.7g 4064 175smk coal 2.800 give or take a few thousandths, nice ragged holes. Same load in 2 different 10 twist barrels, same results.

The first barrel was running 2680 +/- less than 10fps. FGGM factory load (same charge) was running 2655 +/-, same group results. I haven't chrono'ed the second barrel, just had it installed last month so its still brand new. Probably not too different than the first just different maker. The second barrel I based the chamber (PTG) off what I wanted to improve over the first one that had a 95 palma chamber.
