Ok my barreled action is almost done. It's a 26" Kreiger heavy varmet in a rem 700LA. It's chambered in 7mm rem mag. I am looking at the Terry cross sentinel which is a beast of a stock but I have a couple concerns. With a very long rifle my concern is that when in my low drag pack the stock is going to stick up 10+" over my head and make it hard to navigate the woods. Because of that I was thinking maybe the AICS folder. I like the weight of the AICS because I want to be able to spot my impacts and the fact that I think I can get an AICS in hand rather quickly.
Question I have is is the 2.0 that big of advantage over the 1.5 for those that have them? 275.00 seams steep for a folding mechanism and I could go muzzle up to help with being top heavy if I had to.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Merritt
