Re: AICS in ACU camo

I tried running a search of the Hide, but I didn't turn up anything. I swear I remember seeing a chassis that was hydro-dipped in some form of "digital"/ACU type camo pattern (although I could have been drunk or just really tired so don't quote me on that)!

You might take a look at Hydro-dip's website and see if you can uncover any pics there.

Re: AICS in ACU camo

Multi cam would be a better choice. There is a reason why the Army has already started to get rid of the ACU pattern and it doesnt work as well as they said it does. Wore it for 6 years and in the woods it doesnt work.

Re: AICS in ACU camo

Try phantomfinishing.com. He has photos on his site with AICS in both paint schemes. Multicam gets my vote, but both are nice. Todd from phantom finishing is also on the Hide and seems to be a great dude to work with.

Dont know if this helps or not.....

I wasnt going for the ACU look as I was using 3 basic Krylon colors, tan green and black. I am sure with the right colors you could match the ACU. This was done in about 2hrs and $20 in materials.
