AICS in ND

Does anyone near Fargo ND have an AICS I might be able to get behind and see if I'd like the stock? I would be willing to travel some dinstances to get behind one.

And if you wouldn't mind me asking what type of AICS 1.0, 1.5, 2.0? Also looks like Watertown would be closest for me. Where's the closest range to you?

The M2008 is an action made by Badger. It still uses the AICS mag system.

I was under the impression that the AICS already had its own mag system installed. That is why I am asking.

Well I would appreciate it if we could hook up and hit a range around Fargo sometime. I'll give you more information over a PM.

DFOOSKING: Sounds good. The farthest I've shot is 300 yards with my rifle. That is the farthest the range around here goes, but I'm looking to find a farmer that would let me bring a target system onto their land and shoot longer distances. I am really interested in the AICS, but need to find a good deal on one. I'd like to still get behind one to decide if it would be the stock I want on my gun.

Forks Rifle Club, just west of Grand Forks, has a nice range. Sighting in/practice range with backstops every hundred yards out to 600 and an 800 yard competition range. They might let you try it out there as a guest. I just moved to Louisiana from up there. I do miss North Dakota...Fargo in particular, but the weather here is so darn nice right now and I found a great range here. Shot today in 65-70 degree weather

It was 78 degrees on the ride home from West Fargo today.....Won't last though. I'd kinda like to get behind an AICS also. I'm working on building a range on the family farm, but that is two hours out........

Nice to hear the weather is holding out. I do miss ND. I was flying the skydiving plane and jumping up there in West Fargo. Nothing like pizza corner pizza and beers at the Frontier bar after a long day of flying. Good luck on lining up the AICS. I'd like to hear your thoughts if you get the chance to shoot it.
