AICS stock weight?....first post!

Re: AICS stock weight?....first post!

Only Con is the weight if you are hunting and carrying a long way, but it's also a plus for recoil.

They are a little awkward in the forest, if you try to take one stalking, but it can be done without too much trouble.

One other thing, the SA mag is too short for some short magnums, get the long action just in case...

Can't seem to find the stats on them. I know they are a bit heavy, but how much?

Pros & cons to the weight?

Thanks </div></div>

Here you go.

AICS weights include a 5rd mag, action bolts, standard buttpad, and no bipod:

1.5 S/A 5lbs 7oz
2.0 S/A 5lbs 11oz
1.5 L/A 5lbs 13oz
2.0 L/A 6lbs

Length of pull is adjustable on these stocks using a supplied spacer system.

The standard length of pull on an AICS is between 12-16" and can be lengthened or Shortened by the use of spacers. (A set comprises of 1 x 10mm and 1 x 40mm spacer).

Wow, just checked back on an old post and saw this reply. Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and have people wonder if your an idiot than to speak and confirm it.
