Just wanted to give Aimpoint a shout out. My T2 failed on me so I sent it in for repair. Diagnosis said it could not be fixed so they sent me a brand new one.

Communication was great throughout the process as well. Two thumbs up for Aimpoint! ?

I sent in an old Comp M2 for repairs last year. I got it back in a few weeks with a new switch and it didn’t cost me anything. They were great to deal with.

I'm interested to know what the failure was.

I had an issue (well known) with the T1, which I sent back and got a replacement no questions asked.
One of the four threads in the base was stripped when I tried to mount it on an aftermarket mount. Aluminum base + steel screw = problem.

The T2 apparently has helix coil inserts to alleviate this.
