Air Force Major Brian Shul, Ret. will not be down for breakfast

Air Force Major Brian Shul, Ret. died suddenly last night of a heart attack in Reno, Nevada he was 75. In 1973 toward the end of the Vietnam War, he was in a near-tragic plane crash that burnt most of his body. He courageously fought back and was able to fly the SR 71. He is well known for his story “speed check” prayers to his family. and to his many friends.

Well damn, I've watched a lot of his talks on YouTube, and read his book on the Blackbird. He took some amazing photos of it, and told some great stories.
