Akila Chassis on my Blaser R8 300 Norma

The combo shot phenomenal in my Blaser Pro stock, but I wanted to give this Akila a run; hopefully this afternoon.

I just returned from dialing in the rig with factory Norma berger 230 OTM’s.

Nice adjustments w/o tools, very comfortable and well thought out chassis. The rear monopod very well thought out, with quick adjustment and fine. 13.5# total weight with match barrel etc.

4 rds to get my 100 zero, last 2 touching dead on @100. Instead of popping some steel close up (Cody Gun Club) I ranged one of our plates @ 1109 dialed 7.2 and turned the red light on first round. I then turned to our faithful coyote plate @ 1064 and rang his bell with a center hit with 6.7 mils. 547, 1120 and then a perfect 1.4 hold off @ 400 yds.

Flawless setup, what a hoot to shoot, 13 rds after sight in with 13 hits.

I just renamed my Akila “Akiller” for this hunting season’s LR overlook setup.

This 300 win Blaser is my 8.5 pound rig for hauling into high country, it too is sub 1/2 moa (Barnes Factory 195 LRX)

Thanks man, I hunt in extreme weather and have found the R8 to be relentlessly reliable and accurate regardless of the Rocky Mountain conditions.

The rail is 9.5” just “Right” for the RRS 9.5” dovetail and the Pro clamp setup on my TBAC

Love this setup man, albeit an expensive one! Any range reports, and how much does it weigh in the Akila chassis?

I have never had a Blaser barrel that wouldn’t shoot 1/2 moa, usually .2, .3 right/ammo.

Very easy install, get with Jason. I was the Guinea pig and it all came together between Euro/Blaser/Akila

FYI we will add to our offer an alternative foreend with the integrated dovetail at 6 o'clock with removable top bridge. Besides that a new "lite" buttstock without the integrated monopod is already available.
