A few minutes ago, I got a text message saying "xxxxx is your Yahoo verification code".
Me:
Figuring someone may have tried to breach my Yahoo account, I was about to log in and see what the fuck is up... Two minutes later, I got a call from 408-610-4900 on my phone. I did not answer it. Instead, a Google search of that number showed that many people have gotten text messages with "Yahoo verification codes", followed by calls from that particular number. Those who answered it said that some motherfucker keeps insisting to "fix their computers over the remote line"... So yeah, it is fuckery.
Do NOT respond to such text messages and do NOT answer such calls. Expect scams to be on the rise as the economy is getting sodomized. Do Google searches of things that you do not know before engaging with them...
