Actually, the 2 stage G trigger is very similar in design to the standard trigger. One main difference is the reset sear. In the standard trigger, once the trigger is released and the hammer is reset, the reset sear doesn't touch the hammer before the shot breaks. With the 2 stage G trigger, the reset sear touches the back of the hammer adding the weight of the reset sear spring just before the shot breaks. This is how the 2 stage affect is achieved
