I could be wrong, not sure if they changed the illumination controls on the nxs, but turning the knob.adjusts paralex not the illumination. The illumination is on off by pulling it in and out

This one is threaded and you have to turn it counterclockwise to get it off for battery change. No matter where I set it it, the logo is always facing Down when set in Illumination OFF mode. It's the NXS Compact scope.

It's not a big deal, just wondering why the logo is upside down when in OFF mode. Looks odd. I figure a scope costing this much money.........All the photos in the nightforce catalog show it perfectly aligned in off mode. QC must have missed this on mine.

Wow, I never noticed it before on my 2.5-10...I'm going to call Nightforce on Monday to see what's up, hopefully they'll be able to get it straightened out.

2.) If he's getting butt hurt because the knob that moves doesn't reset with the logo proper way up........I doubt some of the vendors want to deal with him.

I just checked my F1 and they screwed up my scope too! Is NF having a problem with QC or what? Thats alot of coin to screw up the logo! Btw illumination is operated by pulling the parallax out. on mine anyway Rthur

He isnt talking about a static logo that was put on improperly. He is talking about the paralax adjustment which is designed to be rotated as need.
The comparison is like asking why the rims on your car do not stay perfectly aligned when you come to a stop. I have ZR1 rims on my corvette. They never are all in the same position when I park. FUCK!!!!!!!!!! I better call chevy and ask why. Beter yet, I better jump on a Corvette forum and ask them!

To the OP, if you don't like it here because we do not agree with your vain requirements than please feel free to not come back. Also, please tell me how the position of the knob affected the performance of the scope.
