All tan AICS AX chassis? Who makes them?

I've noticed a couple of guys had an AICS AX that was all tan, not the standard black metal parts. Is this a special run that was redone? Anyone have info on these?

I think Surgeon take the AX and cerakote them, which might be what you saw? Other companies would as well, but I think I have mostly seen Surgeons with that done.

Agree with the above. It's normally a Surgeon rifle that you see that done to. I believe they Cerakote it Coyote tan.

Cerakote. I painted mine years ago.

Black rifles get too hot in the sun.

it looks better as well. Might got Magpul FDE or burnt bronze depending on if the plastic bits will take the paint as well.

I will cerakote it myself. Most likely burnt bronze for the metal and magpul fde for the plastic bits. Maybe see if I can match the scope's color as well.
