I didn’t. Jay said he has access to thess particular toobs, sent me the spec sheets and the price, and I bought them.

Went out last night, but sky was clear and moon so bright that even the worst tubes would’ve looked brilliant under those conditions.

I was walking down my road at about midnight when a good ol’ boy was driving home in his pickup. He stopped to see if I was in trouble, then noticed I had NV on my head. He asked a few questions, so I popped them off the mount and handed them to him, where of course he was blown away. He gave them back and drove off.

I popped them back on the mount that was on my head, but apparently they didn’t lock, so they promptly fell from >6-feet onto the hard pavement.

That’s the story of my life. First night out with $20K NODs and they bite the dust.

I’m sure they’ll be fine. Dropped more NODs than I care to admit, and rarely have a serious problem. Jay will work his mojo and fix ‘em good.
