Alpha Type 1 in CDI bottom metal?

Are any of you fine sirs utilizing Mr. Allen's CDI Precision Bottom Metal running Alpha Type 1 magazines? It looks like a nice compact (and cheaper) alternative to AICS 10-rounders without losing the 5 rounds that going to the lower capacity AICS mag requires. They claim to work in all AICS-using bottom metals.

Any real-world use and observations regarding reliability/feeding, and just overall impressions would be great.

Yup,only use Alpha mags in my CDI.No problems,actually they have a good fit,almost perfect.About to order more mags.Goodshootin'
