Ok I purchased an hs precision stock for my remmy aac. The stock has an aluminum bed with an inlet for an unknown dbm. Judging by the size of the inlet I would guess it to be the ptg stealth size. Received the stock mocked up the dbm and it's a hair to large. Am I crazy to consider placing aluminum shims and devcon to fill in the slight imperfections and help build up more rigidity to the dbm set up... Or am I opening up a can of worms that don't need to be opened?

image.jpg shims will be set in further and cut to fit then covered with devcon sanded and painted. Should sit slightly below the action. My thoughts are that since the action is still on the aluminum bed this should not have an affect on it other than creating sturdier set up. The stock was purchased with an unknown dbm inlet.
