I actually enjoy talking to people on these posts lol I’ve spent a lot of money in rifle and optic equipment. I like to give my opinion on things when people ask a generally vague worded question. And I’m sure that the rest of the people that posted on here feel the same. Then out of the blue some asshole comes in breaking the keys off his keyboard calling people “retards” and “trolls”. You my friend just became the definition of a troll by coming in and piping off acting like a prick while everyone else here was giving there opinions, and btw everyone’s opinions were pretty good. Except your opinion that you gave of everyone on here which is we are all “retards” and “trolls”.

Most people here with knowledge honestly want to help and share it. What they don't want to do is repeat the same shit every day when 15 seconds of effort would save 15 minutes of typing. Furthermore the person doesn't even put in the basic effort to be able to provide a quality response. So what happens is SMEs get run off and tried of dealing with low IQ lazy posters because no one regulates the forum. The collective knowledge here takes a hit and we all lose in the process. This has happened to virtually every gun board except those that maintain higher posting standards.

Always a good deal on a USO or Leupold in the PX for that price (or better). You may be able to score an older USO 25x for that and with all the bells and whistles, those went for north of $3k ten years ago and are as solid as a hammer with good glass. Well, the Leupold Mk4 won't be FFP, and I'm not a big fan of a Mk4 in 24x anyway. Both are solid optics at lower prices though and common on here which is probably why I have a few of 'em. Lots of good sales going on though, and it may behoove you to save up another $1k while being patient for one to pop up. Sales come and go all the time. And lots of vendors here will take care of members and/or vets.
FWIW, I usually get glass off the PX because quality optics mfg.'s honor the warranty even if it's resold. Hard to go wrong there. Only had to send one ACOG back and I got it on Ebay and that guy had just sent it back to Trij. for inspection and they were the ones that boogered it up. But a week later, like new.

"$1000-1500" & "Good high end FFP scope" do not belong in the same sentence.
$1500 barely gets you into "good mid range FFP scope" at best. Maybe even the used market.

The SHV 4-14 F1 is a great scope for the money. Would rank it on the lower end of mid priced FFP scopes.
I have a Bushnell ERS 3.5-21mm G2DMR reticle if you’re interested
Just recently went from a dmr ii to an Eotech vudu 5-25x50. Only other optic in its price range that interest me was the mk5 but after playing with the vudu about a year ago I was extremely drawn to it. Very similar in glass quality to the razor which isn’t a surprise since its most likely made by LOW. Also love that it runs on 34mm rings and not 35mm like the vortex and mk5.

For new, not used the Sightmark pinnacle 5-30 is incredibly hard to beat.

I don't think there are too many used S&B PMII 5-25×56 for sale for $1500. Not even that many at $2000. $2300, you are in business. And they are worth every penny for $2300-3000.
