Rifle Scopes Am looking for a good mid to high end FFP scope...

That would be a really nice buy.
u can find a lightly used one for that price. i bought mine for 1700 new from milehigh a few years back. Its not a fancy S&B but its a pmii w the P4FL Double turn illuminated reti, only thing i wish it had was locking turrets but im extremely happy w it.

I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled.. was that a special sale at milehigh?

Tbh it might of been a close out deal, they had em for like 1950 or something and then that weekend they had a 10% off so it was a no brainer for me to buy it. Scope like that in canada ranges 3500+ CAD. in the end i think it turned out to be around 2800 CAD for the scope so i saved over 1g on it.

I’d say you made out well!

I’m really loving it. On a 300 That I just finished up putting together! I’d say they are meant for each other..Ha!

If you have a scope that you found and like, stick with it. We are all prone to changing scopes, but honestly, most of the similarly priced stuff that is fairly recently designed is pretty good. We all have our personal preferences, but actual performance differences for most use are pretty small.

I’d pick up a couple at that price in a millisecond. Can’t believe I missed out on that.

find a used schmidt and bender pmii 5x25 for 1500 bucks. cant go wrong with a schmidt.
I’d give my left testicle for a 1500 price tag. Best I’ve seen was 2000 for one but I was immediately called a liar because PM2’s don’t ever sell that cheap. ...then I posted the link to a 2000 one. So I may be wrong to laugh at 1500. But what I do know is that even at 2300, there are great deals in the PX

That’s the way I look at it, the glass is fairly similar and the rest is all up to you as the shooter/buyer. I like the look of leupold and it performs well for me

yeah thats the nice thing about leu's they are usually alot lighter compared to the other competitors. i had a 3x9 AR leu. nice glass but the reticle was way to thick. opted to a fx1000 nikon 4x16 black.
Those Nikon’s are every bit a good bang for your buck.. you get a lot at a decent price
