I was at MR 6 years ago with the fams....Great road trip.

I keep hearing how they dont do fireworks at MR because its a fire hazard and the debris is causing pollution in the ground water.

but.......

The night we were there in 2014 they did fireworks and it seems it wasnt just because I showed up it was a regular happening.

It really was a great experience to be there for the evening show. I highly recommend it.

The Patriotism that would be considered "hokey" but really refreshing as it was heartfelt by those there.

Then if you are one of the pale faces, prepare to be several rungs down the ladder as you find it's either some Indians (from India) at the top or some Ashkenazi depending on which study you listen to, then come the Chinese and Japanese.

Pale faces are down the list especially American pale faces... but hey at least you can feel better you are not in the 70s, 60s and 50s like some are.
