I have not used better. They never seem to leave much of a ring mark and I have never had any kind of an issue with them. A great company in my opinion.
Anybody know what the lead time is? I emailed ARC to ask about availability of a particular pair of 34mm rings and got no response. In the recent frenzy I got tired of ordering things only to be told a week or three later that it's not in stock and indefinitely (or infinitely?) backordered. Now, when a retailer shows no stock status, I contact them before ordering. But ARC neglected to respond.
From everything I've read they seem like truly outstanding rings. If ARC will sell me some I'll be able to provide a firsthand report to the OP...

Call Ted for best response, he is a great guy, and I would say more than likely has a set of 34mm in stock. Leave a voicemail as he may be working, but rest assured you will get them in a timely fashion, hes in Seattle and I usually get them in less than 3 days.

I recently sold 3 HDMR's, all of which were in ARC rings, not one of then had even a smudge where the rings were attached, I was shocked because other high end rings I've used did leave rub marks and on one scope that was mounted on my 375CT there was slip mark damage deep into the finish.
I'm so happy with them that I don't plan on buying any other type of ring!
The M10's will be the next rings I purchase due to the rave reviews on here. Go for them, they'll serve you well.
These are the best made, most well thought out rings I have used. Great attention to detail, and the design is rather elegant in its simplicity...

Yes, the price is great. Thanks for the tip. Ground shipping to AZ comes up as $13.71 so the total would be just under $174. If I can't get a pair of the .856" APA 34mm rings in about the next week I'll try the .94" ARC M10s. Also might give the .79" 30mm M10s a shot on a different scope...
I met with Ted this year at Shot. He's a sharp young guy with some pretty interesting and cutting edge experience in the aerospace industry. The machining on his rings was absolutely first tier with an exceptional, even unnecessary, amount of engineering and intricacy to the design. The design features on these rings are different than most other companies. His design has a contact point machined rail interface with relief cuts on non-contacting parts of the surface, pivoting rail grasp claws, pivoting ring quarters, and a single top cap screw which should provide higher tension on the cap screw with less tension on the tube. This will decrease crush force on the tube while lowering the chance of the screw backing out. The end goal of the design is to eliminate marring on the scope tube without sacrificing the strength of the mount. I think that he has a valid point when he questions the willingness of people to take out their new $3k optic and mar is up in the initial mounting process. Sure if you had to scratch it up to get a good mount it might be worth it but what if you can design a mount that you don't have to do that with. Just because you bought a new work truck that will probably eventually get scratched doesn't mean that you scratch it up the first day. You'd probably be pretty pissed if that happened.
Anyhow, Ted is sending me a set of these to write a review of in June or July. I will be doing that review in conjunction with the 1-8x showdown. I am quite interested to see how they perform as the design is fundamentally different than other makers are using.

Who are you to second-guess the engineering that went into these rings, given Ted's credentials vs. yours?
I use them and are very happy with them so far. The model I have (Gen 2) are ugly but they seem to work great. If I needed new rings would they be the first I go to? Maybe not, but they would definitely be in contention.
Don't think he is second guessing his engineering, he was stating they were over-engineered. IMO that's a compliment.
On another note, just received my M10 rings from EuroOptic and they seem top notch! Waiting for my Bushnell XRS to see how they perform.
I got a pair of M10 rings second hand with a scope I purchased on here from Greene. Very nice rings, well machined, well designed, and I love the single top screw design. I will say that I prefer the beefy recoil lug on the Seekins Rings, but the cross bolt and clamping design of the ARC's should work just fine. One thing worth noting is that the scope that I purchased did have some marks on the tube. Perhaps Greene will see this thread and be able to comment on the origin of those marks and if they were caused by the ARC rings. At this point I really couldn't say which I prefer between ARC and Seekins.

I agree with jaaron11, wish they had left the recoil lugs on the bottom of the rings like the original gen1 and 2's, as I also liked the one screw clamp design of the M10's. Also there have been other threads showing it also has to do with deviations in the scope coating as to the rings marks. Take that for what its worth as I have not researched in myself.

And note that keeping the scope level with the use of these rings while mounting is an added bonus
I bought my ARC's directly from Ted, damn nice guy. These things are bad ass, ACR's are atop my list of preferred rings, mine are the dual top bolt model (don't know which gen) in 34mm, hell for stout & no ring marks. I'd like to try the M10s.

I have a pair of M10s on my surgeon. Well made - installation and alignment were very easy. Highly recommend them.
I just got some from Eurooptic.com. They had them in stock, and cheaper by over $20.00 than anyone else I found. Hope they perform well on my 5R that's on its way.
I have two one piece 30 MOA scope mounts on order right now... They are 5 weeks out. They are re-engineering them to add a bubble level in them, putting the scope base screws on the opposite side, making a pic rail on it for a cant angle indicator, etc etc.... They sound like they are going to be the best on the market after this. I cant wait to get them in.
Well, that pretty much seals it. With an integral bubble level I will be buying one (or two). How does the new setup compare price wise with Spuhr?

I hope you are OK with that. Also, do you really need 40 MOA? We phased that out with the new design thinking it was a bit excessive. However, if you must have 40 MOA, I can make these for you as we are currently running 30mm diameter mounts. An angle change is pretty easy to do right now.
Features of our new QD mounts include the following:
30, 34, and 35mm diameter
all diameters available in standard (35mm) and high (40mm) heights
all diameter-height combinations available in 0, 20, and 30 MOA
thumb screws moved to the right side for compatability with AR charging handles
thumb screws can be tightened either by hand for QD or by using a 4mm hex key for a more permanent attachment
bubble level built into aft ring
interface for ACI indicator mount in forward ring
two M5 tapped holes in bridge for whatever you want to attach

They're the only rings that I've been running since mid 2010, I've had everything since the Gen 1's and they're excellent. The M10's are great and I just put a pair of the 34/24 M10's on the new Steiner 5-25 I got last month. Not like I was expecting anything less than exceptional, but having had "all of them" I can say the M10's are probably the easiest to deal with while still providing the excellent performance of the other designs when it comes to return to zero, scope leveling, and non-marring design.

A few weeks ago I picked up a set of 30mm .79" tall ARC M10 rings from SWFA. They are truly spectacular. The single cap screw revolutionizes the mounting process. And they are quite light... 2 ounces per ring (compared to 1.7 ounces for a Nightforce Ultralite 30mm 1.0" tall ring).
I got mine at eurooptics.com and will be mounting them on a 5R this afternoon. I get my gun out of my 10 day state mandated crappy waiting period and will be there at exactly 3:36 PM to get the bloody thing!!!! If I don't get too giddy and just slap it all on there, I will get some decent pics of the mounting process.
will a S&B 5-25 fit in the uni-mount?? anyone have pics or this setup....... my Schmit doesn't fit in my AI mount.

Great review Jim. I have the same M10 QD-L scope mount. I had a Vortex Razor 5-20 mounted on a fairly heavy .308 bolt gun. I moved it over to an AR-15 .223 and ran approximately 300 rounds through the rifle. I took the mount off of the AR-15, but did not re-mount on the .308. Then I decided to put it back on the same AR-15 .223. I mounted it on exactly the same rail. Pictured below are the first 5 rounds I fired. The middle of the orange sticker represents where the rifle was zeroed previously (obviously this isn't as extensive as this part of your review), and said orange sticker is 1". The "return to zero" was approximately .175 Mils low (2 clicks) and .1 Mil left. That's pretty solid in my book!
