Was at my local Walmart and checked their ammo supply as I always do when I go there for food. The actually had some CCI Mini Mags in stock. First time I have seen them in over a month and a half. Got me 3 boxes as they have a 3 box limit. Was pretty happy to get some finally.

Re: AMMO

Went to my local WM a few days ago, not pretty. A few boxes of 22LR shot shells, 5 boxes of no name 9mm, a couple of boxes of Remington .243 and 3 or 4 boxes of Remington .270. A third of what they used to have was rimfire, now zilch, zero, nada and I saw WM will not try to restock until after all the crap in DC settles down.

Re: AMMO

Although I do have maybe 1000 rounds of the Aguila Super Colibri which has no powder, just primers LOL... accurate to maybe 25 yds... it wont even clear the barrel of my old Winchester 72. Works in my marlin just fine tho... I guess that will have to work for a while.

Obviously I don't know about every caliber, but every ammo I asked about in a chat with Cabela's showed Jan 25 as the expected date for the backorders to be in stock. I saw the same date on a couple forums as well.

Web site, local store is picked clean.

Re: AMMO

This latest round of panic buying is far worse then the 2008/09 panic buying, that's for sure. In the mean time until things get better and ammo is available, I'll just do more trigger time with my pellet rifles.
