The ol spine flop. Ive seen some critters do that. I always hate to see it. I hate to think about how scared they are when all the sudden their legs dont work. In this case not so much.
Motor skills while in the unfolding of the moment are actually very good.
-Drop bags being held in gun hand.
- Draw weapon while moving to a shooting position with a good line
-Fire while external movement and obstacles are in path of open area for a better tactical advantage if multiple assailants
-Don't hit your own outstretched apendages
-Don't shoot the other people running in all directions around and nearly through you.
-Keep moving and reassess threats while doing so.

Good guy almost acted like he was surprised the first shot didn't just make him crumble. When bad guy took off he said. Oh ok let's try another one.
I think if he double or triple tapped at the time of the first shot it would have been a different result.

With a modern semiauto pistol, the SOP for neutralizing an active and extremely dangerous threat like in this case is a triple tap into center mass ONCE it is absolutely clear that no bystanders are in the potential line of fire. There is a reason why the 3 round burst had been adopted into military weapons.
