One of the goals I'm working towards is calculating firing solutions without the aid of electronics. Obviously a big part of that is collecting atmospheric data without turning on the Kestrel. I've got an analog barometer that I'm pretty happy with, but I'm having a hard time finding a couple of types of analog thermometers. The stuff I'm finding is like those zipper pull ones and ones on emergency whistles. What I'd like is a rugged & accurate one for ambient air temperature and also hopefully one that's sort of credit card shaped for ammo temperature. I'm using the Tab Gear bullet binders to carry ammo into the field and if I could find an accurate thermometer that slipped into the clear dope card pocket I think I could get a good ammo temp, at least when I first pull it out of the bag and open it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to try to attach a picture of dope card pouch for those who don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks!
