Picked up my new Surgeon action for my .260 build.... getting excited now. Waiting on the two rock creek barrels now then gonna have RWS gunsmithing chamber/crown/thread them, then off to have everything melonited.
And so it begins....

It's going to go into my Mcree initially. It might very well stay there, I dunno. I really like the look of the AI AX chassis but who knows, the Mcree has treated me very well. Thanks for the comments, there will definitely be more pics in the future!

Are both barrels going to be 260? Or is it going to be a multi-caliber?

Both are going to be .260. I just want to have a back up barrel for when I shoot the first one out. I shoot a LOT and wanted them chambered at the same time so there is as little difference between them as possible.

Sounds like it will be a nice one. Youll love that surgeon. I absolutely love mine and any build that I do from the ground up will be on one of their actions. I own others and will own other actions but if Im starting from ground zero then It would sure be hard to use anything else. Good luck and keep us updated
