And so it begins...

The sickening part is that the vile evil family member who filed the false report most likely as a negotiation tactic because she wanted someone out of the house so she could have a better chance to inherit it if the main occupant died most likely will face no charges and will have her "privacy" protected.

The day is coming when "Just Following Orders" is not going to be an allowed defense for those that chose the side of evil.

The day is coming when if you know someone who will refuse to be disarmed and you want them dead. No hit man needed, just tell someone in Gov and they will send a hit team.

The Cops are just pawns. I wonder how long before they start saying no? Scary dangerous times.

How long before they start saying no or waking up with their house burning down around them.

This law is in such clear violation of multiple Constitutional Amendments -- I just can't believe that it still exists, young as it is. The faster it is challenged and falls before SCOTUS the more bloodshed will be prevented.

One lesson to learn here is, at least in Murderland, don't put your gun down when you see it's the cops at your door. An unintended byproduct of these shenanigans is the erosion of trust in LE. A lot of officers are going to die as a result -- both directly and indirectly.

Good luck with that. They won't refuse to follow that order.

Im sure the NRA and GOA are just itching to get this law to the SCOTUS so it can be ruled unconstitutional.

Doubt the NRA or GOA does much if anything but send out "support us with your money" requests.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....SCOTUS will do jack shit and that is if a challenge is made...There has been so much of this crap going on over the last few years that you have to wonder why a challenge hasn't been brought to SCOTUS. Moreover, these red flag laws are more blatantly unconstitutional than the actions resulting from them being enacted. The red flag laws violate due process in every way imaginable. The gun grabbers have thought this through quite well and have shrouded the passing of these laws as a public service initiative.

Trump gives no shits about us. You will see that in bright lights when Pelosi and the other gun grabbers take over in January.

Will some LEO die as a result...don't know. Most people are not going to fight the LEO should they come. They will hand things over because no one want s to die in front of their family despite the chest thumping. If an LEO comes a knocking....most will do whatever they say versus leaving your family with a bloody memory of you being shot dead. You talk about the erosion of trust....that left long ago. It was WACO for me that changed my mindset to what it is today. I am always respectful to LEO and have a number of acquaintances and 2 good friends that serve but I try to avoid interaction to the greatest extent possible friends excepted.

This will continue to play itself out but when the gun grabbing liberals take over, it will escalate for certain.

I was born free, I will die free no matter what. It will be an incredible irony if I die by the same hand that is supposed to keep me free. God help us.

With Firearms you are guilty till proven innocent. It's the Dem way. You need look no further than Kavanagh.

What am I supposed to do with cops surrounding my house and my family at home? Fight?

They get the guns, and at least I have enough money to fight to get them back, then I sue the ever living shit out of everyone who had anything to do with it.

Then again, I live in a free state, and this won't come here anytime soon. I wouldn't fucking live there, period.

Begin? It hasn't begun yet. No confirmed BC, no beginning. Not that the press would report it accurately.

We still have some hope of not sliding down the hole entirely, but it's getting slimmer and slimmer every day.

Great... I can't wait until all the legal scum start leveraging this in divorce law cases as well. It is already standard protocol to falsly claim domestic violence and submit for orders of protection to show the court how "dangerous" the other party acts. Now, they will try to collect all the firearms on top of it to further the BS agenda.

New Zealand keeps sounding better and better.

New Zealand keeps sounding better and better.

I would do a bit more research about there.
The police over in NZ like to basically decide who they think will be guilty and then lie, cheat and bully or just plain be evil to make it stick.
They don't even like it much when the Judges happen to point out their ideas are not even physically possible.

In addition, it's a bit of a police state where the haves and the connected ones can get away with as they please & they can really put the boots to you if they don't like you.

Beautiful country, very nice people, great hunting, But nowhere close to the freedoms, liberties & rights that we take for granted even if we are slowly loosing them all to the communists.

Losing maybe, but Americans will never accept they lost them. Liberty is more powerful than even welfare is. Once most people have tasted Liberty they will never give it back. Liberty is just too delicious. It won't go without a fight. That is what truly scares me right now. Because I am old and would like to die in peace...and I am hoping to last a while longer. :)

I think you underestimate how many people are happy to exchange their freedom for free stuff, or even for no stuff, just because it's "For the children" or "To make us all safe" or "Equality" or other such BS.

Just look at how the actual laws and voting is going in this country.

The good freedom loving people are being out bred, out imported, and shouted over.

Meanwhile the MSM Fake media & a good section of Communists in this country are cheering from the rooftops with each nail driven in the coffin of freedom.

If you're going to shoot someone over this, cops are the wrong target. The right targets work in legislatures and courts.

Yes and no. Police could collectively say "fuck you we're not doing that -- do it yourself if that's what you want". Problem solved. Everyone knows the political asswipes aren't going to do it. What are they going to do? Find other people willing to risk their lives every day for peanuts and the derision of the MSM? Don't think so.

If the police comply with orders to violate the Constitution they are just as guilty as those giving the orders, same as guards at Auschwitz. "I was just following orders" is an unacceptable defense.

Think of it as dandelions on your lawn. When you try to eradicate them by pulling them up out of the ground, the leaves break off leaving the roots still alive underground and weeds come back. Cops are the leaves. Legislators are the roots.

I'm not saying the politicians aren't the problem -- of course they are. I'm saying that if the cops weren't complicit, then the politicians would cease to be a problem. It takes both reagents for the chemical reaction to proceed. They are all guilty of tyranny and violation of their oath.
