I went to see this last night with my 12 year old Daughter, I liked it alot, no it did'nt follow the book, but was worth it IMHO, its also alot better than The Da Vinci Code movie, my kid said it was awsome, she liked the plot twist and turns, and last night she started reading the book and is about 1/4 done.

The movie pulled a few punches against the Catholic Church that the book did not. The history of the Illuminati is reveal in much more detail in the book as one would expect, but I agree: the film is quite good. It's also impressive to note the level of seamless visual effects work done to make it appear as though they filmed in the Vatican when in fact they were prohibited.
