Range Report another .308 load critique please.

I found a good load for my DPMS Lr308 with 155 SMK's so, I thought I would see if they would out perform my 168 SMK load for my REM 700. My go to load before this is, 45.7 grn of Varget, 168 SMK, CCI 200 primers. I get about 2630 fps out that load. The rifle started it's life as a REM 700 VLS .308. I had the barrel cut to 20", added an HS precision stock, Badger DBM, timney trigger, Badger 20 moa base, Mark 4 rings, Horus Raptor scope 4-16x50,Harris Bipod. Load testing is at 300 Yards without the Cyclone K. Here is what I've gotten.Please give me some feed back. Thanks alot.

Looks tome like somethings loose . The 46.8 load tells me its mechanical . BUT I dont know everything .

It would be nice to know it it put the rds in 1-3,4-5,6 groups . as that would scream somethings loose . BUT judgeing form your set up I doubt this is the case .

Varget seems to be a little slow for the 155's .

Whats the COL ?? How far off the ogive are you .

Repeat and compare. Least average vertical dispersion is usually the best load. Make certain parallax is properly compensated.

46.5 Varget is my go to load with 155gr bullets.

Lapua Brass and a CCI BR2 primer.

your speed seems low though, I would have expected close to 2800fps.

The 2630 fps is my 168smk load.

43.8 grains of IMR-4320 is my preferred load under 155 gr. AMaxs. Seating is .010" off the lands. CCI BR primers

You may also want to try BL-C(2). I have very good luck shooting that under 168 gr. pills

The upper node is close to 47.4-6 gr Varger in Lapua cases with the 155s. {Scenar ; FullBore ; SMK-2156} or 47.8 gr Varget in Win cases similarly recipied.
