For those of you with 223 trainers, how often are you cleaning? I’ve got about 700 rounds down mine without touching the barrel, still shooting excellent , but worried about developing a nasty carbon ring.
The last time I cleaned thoroughly, it took me about 100 rounds to get the barrel back dialed in. Trying to avoid that again.
Proof barrel, 1:7 twist, gunsmith chambered. Shooting mostly FGGM 77match.
