Rifle Scopes another ring height thread (700 sps tac/PST 50mm)

I'm sure you guys love these, but I've read the sticky. I simply don't have anything in hand to measure, as I am ordering it all together.


Anyway, I have a Remington 700 SPS Tac .308. Scope is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50. I ordered an EGW 20 MOA base, and Leupold Mark 4 medium aluminum rings. Should this work? If not, I need to get a hold of them and change my order before it ships. Thanks

should be fine, i have a 56 mm on one of mine and able to use night force mediums

Not sure on the leupold ring measurments, but if their lows are .83-.85 like most they will clear and have enough space for flip caps on the reguler egw 20moa base.
I'm running a swfa 5-20 on egw hd 20moa (lower than the reg egw) with aad mout low rings on sps tac and had to trim the flip cap a little.
Bro in laws sps varmint has pst 6-24 on uso 20moa base with uso super lows and has room to spare.

Pretty sure what you have on order will clear with room to spare.

Thanks for the replies! I actually cancelled that order because the pst was out of stock.

I ended up going with egw 20 moa base and burris extreme lows.

After searching the forums, i found a thread with a guy running the same setup. Although it was on a savage with a custom barrel and action.

I think it should work, well see. Thanks again.
